2. What we collect
When you read this website
We do not set cookies, run advertising scripts, build a profile of you, or follow you to other sites. If you choose light or dark mode, your browser stores that preference on your device so the site can remember it. The preference never leaves your browser and does not identify you.
Two things still happen that you should know about.
- Our hosting provider records standard server request data, including your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser user agent, which is necessary to serve the site and to defend it against abuse.
- Everything else these pages need, including the typeface, is served from our own domain. We do not run client-side analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, or session replay.
When you contact us
If you email, call, text, or message us through Zalo, WhatsApp, or Telegram, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, your contact details, your company, and the content of your message. Messaging apps also give us the account name and number you contact us from.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect sensitive personal data, and you should not send it to us.
- We do not buy contact lists or scrape contact details.
- We do not use tracking pixels, session replay, or advertising identifiers.
- We do not make automated decisions about you or profile you.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
| Purpose | Data | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry and discussing possible work | Name, contact details, company, message content | Your consent, given by choosing to contact us, and our legitimate interest in responding |
| Preparing a proposal and, if you engage us, performing the contract | Contact and company details, project information | Steps taken at your request before and under a contract |
| Serving this website and keeping it available and secure | Server request data including IP address | Our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site |
| Meeting tax, accounting, and other legal obligations | Transaction and correspondence records | Compliance with a legal obligation |
We do not send marketing email. If we ever introduce a newsletter, it will require a separate opt in that is not bundled with anything else, and every message will carry a working unsubscribe link.
4. Who else handles it
We keep the number of third parties small and deliberate. The following providers may process personal data on our behalf or receive it as a consequence of how the site and our contact channels work.
| Provider | Role | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, content delivery, and protection against abuse | Global network |
| Namecheap Private Email | Hosts our business mailbox and therefore stores email correspondence | Outside Vietnam |
| Zalo, WhatsApp, Telegram | Carry messages you choose to send through those apps, under their own privacy terms | Vietnam and international |
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We disclose it to others only where the law requires it, or where you have asked us to.
When you contact us through a messaging app, that app handles your message under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. If you would rather not use a third party platform, email or telephone us instead.
5. Transfers outside Vietnam
Some of the providers above process data outside Vietnam. Where that happens we rely on your consent to use the channel in question and on contractual terms with the provider, and we limit the data transferred to what the service actually needs. We keep an internal record of these transfers as required by Law No. 91/2025/QH15 on Personal Data Protection.
6. How long we keep it
| Record | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not lead to work | 24 months from the last contact, then deleted |
| Client correspondence and project records | The engagement, plus the period our contract and Vietnamese law require |
| Accounting and tax records | The period required by Vietnamese tax law |
| Server request logs | The short period our hosting provider retains them for security purposes |
You can ask us to delete your data earlier. See the next section.
7. Your rights
Under Vietnam's Law on Personal Data Protection you can ask us to do the following. You do not need a lawyer, a form, or a reason.
- Tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it.
- Restrict or stop a particular use of it.
- Object to a use you consider unjustified.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting what was done beforehand.
- Complain, to us first and to the competent Vietnamese authority if we do not resolve it.
To exercise any of these, email tai@taiphamsolutions.com with the words "privacy request" in the subject line. We acknowledge within one business day and answer in full within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, but only where it is genuinely necessary to protect your data.
8. Security
We keep the amount of personal data we hold deliberately small, which is the most effective protection available to a firm of our size. The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to our mailbox and business accounts requires multi factor authentication, and access is reviewed periodically. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the competent authority as the law requires.
9. Children
This site and our services are intended for businesses and the people who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We update this notice when what we do changes, and in particular when we add a new provider that processes personal data. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made silently.
11. Contact and complaints
Privacy questions and requests go to tai@taiphamsolutions.com or +84 909 840 720, and reach Tai Pham directly.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the competent Vietnamese data protection authority. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
